I was on an acne medication called accutane, which is famously known for intensely drying out lips. I had searched for specific accutane lip balm, and only found over priced stuff that still left my lips dry. After a couple months of suffering through it, I made my own lip balm. Over the 10 months that I was on the medication, I perfected the recipe. Although I am no longer on the medication, my lips are used to it and other lip balms do nothing for me. My goal with this brand is to provide an affordable and effective lip balm for those with dry lips, especially those on acne medication. Unlike most lip balms that are made to only last a short amount of time so that you reapply often, the Ola Balms recipe is made to last long in order to help those who need it.
